Hon. Dr. GETRUDE IBENGWE MONGELLA
Former member of East African Legislative Assembly and the Parliament of the United Republic of Tanzania. She was also a member of the Council of the University of Dar es salaam for year 1975-1982 and former Curriculum developer for Dar es salaam Institute of Education.
Hon. Dr. Mongella held high positions in the government as Minister of Lands, Tourism and Natural Resources. She was also the Minister Without Portfolio within the President’s Office.
Internationally, Dr. Mongella held the following posts:
The first president of the Pan African Parliament. Earlier, she held posts as Vice Chairperson to the World Conference to Review and Appraise the Achievements of UN Decade for Women.
Former Tanzanian High Commissioner to India. UN Assistant Secretary General and Secretary General, 4th World Conference on Women in Beijing, China .Member of the Advisory Group to the Director General UNESCO for the follow-up of the Beijing Conference in Africa, South of the Sahara.
She is the Award winner of Delta Prize from University of Georgia for her Global Understanding.
Hon.DR. AISHA OMAR KIGODA
She is the former Member of Parliament for Handeni Constituency. She is Medical doctor graduated from Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre (KCMC), holding Advanced Diploma in Clinical Medicine of 1987. Dr. Kigoda has served the country at various levels in the government formerly as Deputy Minister in the ministry of Health and Social Welfare, as Ag. District Medical Officer in Dodoma, also as the Dodoma Region Medical Officer.
Hon. DR.BATILDA SALHA BURIAN
She is the former Member of Parliament Special Seats. Hon.Burian is a Development Planning expert with a Phd in Development Planning from the University of London. She has also served the country in various levels in the government such as Minister of state in the vice president’s office environment, Deputy Minister of Planning and Economic Empowerment, Deputy minister of Community Development, Gender and Children, Board member of Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority, National Programme Coordinator for Ministry of Regional Administration and Local Government: Urban Authorities Unit. Team leader –Research in the President’s Office.
Hon. ESTERINA JULIO KILASI
She is the former Member of Parliament for Mbarali Constituency. Hon.Kilasi, is a Certified Public Accountant, with over 30 years experience in the accounting and finance management having served several posts in her profession, formely as Chief Accountant for National Chemical Industries and Project Accountant for Moshi Pesticides Manufacturer.
Hon. Kilasi is also a former Member of Board of Directors of Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA).
Hon. JOYCE MARTIN MASUNGA
She is the former Member of Parliament special seats. Hon. Masunga is a professional academician having held different posts in education sector such as Ward Education officer and Headmistress for more than 10 years.
Hon. MONICA NGENZI MBEGA

She is the former Member of Parliament for Iringa Mjini Constituency. Hon. Mbega is a Certified Public Accountant, with over 30 years experience in the accounting and finance management having served several posts in her profession, formely as Chief Accountant Southern Zone for Ministry of Health, Iringa regional accountant for the Ministry of Prime Minister’s and First Vice President’s office.
Hon. Mbega is also a former Member of Board of Trustees of Parastal Pensions Fund (PPF). She also served as Deputy Minister of Finance in the Ministry of Finance and Planning. She is the former Regional Commissioner for Kilimanjaro and Ruvuma regions.
Hon. Mbega holds Masters of Business Administration from Salford University of UK.
Hon. TEDDY LOUISE KASELLA-BANTU
She is the former Member of Parliament for Bukene Constituency. Hon. Kasella-Bantu holds Certificates in Relations Management and administration from University of Dar es salaam, certificates in Accountancy, Customer service, Diploma in Tourism and Travel Agency Management.
She has great leadership skills and experience, some of the posts she has held include Executive Secretary for CRS Dar es salaam and Management Secretary & Incharge Computer Room for NCR Corporation (T) Limited.
Hon. SEVELINE SYSLVANUS MWIJAGE
She is the former Member of Parliament special seats. Hon. Mwijage is also former member of Kilimo Kwanza Board of Kagera region. She is trained and awarded certificate in political women leadership from FNF in 2003, Financial record keeping at Bukoba Municipal Council in 2007, Democracy and Good Governance from Hans Seidel Foundation in 2005 and Small Scale Entrepreneurship certificate from MAKURU FARM in 2000.
